Our dog Sydney lets off stinkers.
His new nickname of “Pork Chop” seems odd because he came to us so skinny from an animal shelter. Sydney has always wolfed down his food at top speed. Eating fast causes animals to swallow more air. Gobblers stink more-really.
When Sydney lets off a smelly one, he runs away!
Who thinks I should order this Little Stinker costume for Sydney?

I have two reasons for ordering. And no, I have never bought a costume before for a dog before. The first reason is that every order from The Animal Rescue Site shop provides money that feeds pets waiting in animal shelters. Buying this Skunk costume gives 14 bowls of food. The second reason is that new challenges are good for a dog’s mind. Sydney loves being the center of attention. He also loves praise and treats. Being part poodle he goes and finds himself a job, unless I give him a new game to work.
Food Allergies Make Foul Smelling Gas
Bad smelling gas can be caused by food allergies or eating the wrong foods.
Puppies need more protein and fat than mature dogs. Working dogs need a different diet than lap-dogs. Racing Greyhounds need different nutrition from retired dogs that love to lay around the house with their people.
Considering there is a huge difference in quality of pet foods, you get the picture.
Visit the Dog Food Advisor and learn about why he started studying and blogging about dog foods. He rates foods from 1 to 5. Breaks down each nutrition part into percentages. Plus he tracks brand name pet food recalls and reported toxins in dog foods.
Halloween Costume #2: Glow Bones
Glow in the Dark Bones would also be a fun costume for Sydney. He has t-shirts and sweaters for winter he wears when he must be trimmed. And I rather like the idea of seeing him glow in the dark.
The head covering with velour strap under the chin maybe feel weird. He is a weird dog, so sometimes weird works.
But I am not ruling this costume out. I did have a black t-shirt with ribcage and spine bones on it. Not a bad idea to go to a fall festival dressed as a pair of dancing skeletons, eh?
