I have already blogged once about how a click a day feeds thousands of shelter animals. Really, no donation needed at The Animal Rescue Site. Their Website offers other highly important ways you can help lost pets and wild animals.
Just a minute of you time each day will feed shelter animals. One minute more and you can sign petitions for animal welfare. This morning I just signed. I hope you will sign.
Because my main purpose on Dog Leader Mysteries covers California dog adoption and saving animals in my state, I ask you to:
1. Go to this page on The Animal Rescue Site
2. Please sign this petition to Governor Brown. If his initiative cuts animal shelter funding, shelters will kill pets within 72 hours of entering.

Why? Because if you don’t, lost and scared pets will be killed before their families can find them.
This includes puppies, kittens, adult dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters.
If this new law passes in 72 hours, most pets stand to lose their lives before they receive health and temperament checks. Plus potential adoptive or foster families will never see and have a chance to adopt these animals.
So please, this Monday, help save lives.
Sign this letter and petition to Governor Brown.
They need about 10,000 more signatures.

If you live outside California, search The Animal Rescue Site for your state related petitions and for national animal welfare causes.
Together, we have the power to change laws for animals. We can stop animal cruelty. We can win.
But only if we work together everyday.
If you have a smart phone you can sign this petition, while waiting in line for your coffee. If you use a library computer, you can give three minutes to save pets.
You don’t have to give money.
From my experience raising four adopted dogs, and two rescue rabbits, I am shocked that healthy loving pets get dumped at shelters. Even purebred puppies are killed in shelters if rescuers cannot get them out in time.
Save a life today.
Save two or three.
Just click on the link and sign the petition.
Thank you so much.
Fondly,
Deborah Taylor-French
