Amsterdam Dogs: Photo Friday

While in the Netherlands, I caught a train to Amsterdam and visited the city’s own central park. I promise to write more about that trip and the dogs and people I meet in the next few weeks.

Amsterdam Off-leash Dogs

All dog parents kept their eyes on their four-legged friends. In two hours of walking, I saw dozens and dozens of dogs. Not one hint of aggression or fear from any of the canines. I wondered, how do they do it. For one thing, they do not stay on their cell phones while walking their dogs, or while bicycling either.

Here’s a sneak peek at a couple of dogs I saw.

This dog held his ears back…in every photograph I took. I wondered why.
