Pet Dental Health Month? Yes, February carries this helpful reminder .
My best tip to keep your dog healthy – “Brush his teeth.”
Sadly, I did not brush Sydney’s teeth everyday as his groom suggested. The result horrified me. Seven years later, my dog lost seven teeth in his first dental treatment. The bill ended up being over four hundred dollars.
So now instead of once a week, I brush his teeth EVERYDAY.

What tips can you share about how your dog learned to love a toothbrush?

Farley, my wheaten terrier, likes the taste of the toothpaste. He plays with the toothbrush a bit, which makes brushing a little awkward, so I think he thinks it’s a game. When I get the toothbrush out, he comes running. I guess that’s not much of a tip, but I am in support of taking care of your dogs teeth.
Thanks. Yeah, Sydney chews on his toothbrush too.
