Our dogs do not live free and wild. They come from a long-line of faithful companions who have worked and played with us since prehistory. Loving our dogs can make us truly appreciate how challenging surviving in the wild must be for wolves.
Keep Wilderness Wild
Our earth needs wolves.
Wildland and wild animals need wolves. Please read and take action (US citizens only). USA federal government unlisted wolves, so now they are endangered of being slaughtered from helicopters again. Who makes money from wolf slaughter?
Hunters, bullet makers, gun sellers and hunting tourism.
This breaks my heart, dear readers.
So share freely and keep signing petitions for federal and state animal welfare.
On all levels, in forests, on mountains in our oceans, wild animals on our planet need protection.
Wolves Keep Other Wild Animals Healthy
Wolves eat rats. Yes, read Farley Mowat’s Never Cry Wolf or watch the movie. The author tested whether a wolf could stay healthy on a diet of rats by eating rats too. You can find the movie trailer of the book on YouTube at Never Cry Wolf 1989.
